Re: AmenorrheaFrom: R. Daniel Braun (rBraun@IUNET.IUPUI.EDU)Wed Sep 4 11:24:55 1996
Don't think I agree. I'd rather have a healthy intact Mom, than a gorked out "chemically sterile" patient. Patients rarely accept any of the responsibility for there medical care, in court anyway. I agree with Joe's train of thought. After all, HE'S THE MAN Or perhaps if you follow Joe(THE MAN) and Richard's line of reasoning you may have a "gorked out" 6 month pregnant woman on a ventilator acting as an incubator. The risk from the pills is less than the risk from pregnancy; the only diference is tha we don't prescribe the pregnancy (or do we if we won't prescribe the pills ????)

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
