Re: AmenorrheaFrom: SAVARIS@vortex.ufrgs.brTue Sep 3 20:30:34 1996
Dear collegue, I dont know about Prolactine pool of 111 and to considere it as a normal value. Amenorrhea is directly linked to hyper PRL. In my case I would check the side effects of this drug, instead of receive it from a collegue. Documentation of this situation is a good practice, it will support your decision. Secondly, if you want to make artifycial cycles you may use HRT, of just Progesterone. But what about of Bromocriptine? it will deal directly with the high levels of PRL Riacrdo Savaris, MD, MSc savaris@vortex.ufrgs.br Porto Alegre Brazil

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
