Re: Norplant FailuresFrom: PDBurstein@aol.comFri Aug 30 07:04:15 1996
True, some women have regular, presumably ovulutory cycles, yet the pregnancy rate is incredibly small. If the incidence of twins in general, without ART, is 1:89, and the Norplant failure rate 2:1000, it seems like this is an extremly rare situation. In medicine we deal with lots of very rare circumstances-unfortunately many are complications of our own doing. Paul Paul D. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
