I should have also noted that my discussion with the patient would include this data and also the fact that she -could- have a classical scar, though this would be unlikely (mexico is not as full of quacks as we sometimes would like to believe). If she desired a TOL after counseling I would clearly (obviously for medico-legal reasons [trial lawyers reading this list ESAD]) document that discussion and her decision. Should she desire a repeat I would not hesitate to do that either.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
