Re: Software for OfficeFrom: T Dubose (tjdubose@chrp.uams.edu)Thu Aug 29 08:59:43 1996
About 5 years ago I implemented a mammographic tracking system for a group of radiologist. It was a nightmare. Back then there were lots of them being advertised, fewer now. I honestly wouldn't recommend a brand name of one on a dare. The ones I've looked at (we looked at several before buying at about $15,000+) and they all claim to be sooo easy. But it will probably take a full time data entry clerk and a part time software/database manager for a practice of any size. Maybe they have gotten better since then, software tends to change rapidly. You might check with the mammography lab accrediting agency. Hope this helps. Peace, Terry J. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
