Apparently there are a lot of folks who lurk on this list, because my mailbox has already been inundated with responses! For a while I contributed to alt.support.menopause but got tired of the doctor bashing, attacks on estrogen-based hormone therapy, and, in particular, attacks on male ob/gyns. (It seems en vogue to forgot the enormous contributions a lot of male ob/gyns have made to our field). The general trend I see from the posts thus far is a following of John Lee. If only Dole had that kind of PR! Thanks, Ashley Hill D. Ashley Hill, M.D. dahmd@gate.net Orlando, FL

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
