Let them go elsewhere. As soon as a complication occcurs, they will be the first to sue. I think I would not be able to find the maneuvers you described for shoulder dystocia in any textbook and this would make it dificult to defend in a court of law. If my employer were to promise that I would do something of this nature without first consulting me, I think I would have a case for breach of contract and if I didn't, then I would get a new employer.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
