In their studies, fetal lambs were injected intramuscularly, avoiding the ewe.I cant quote the source of the reference. Our preliminary data, in humans, is consistent with these findings. Besides, the safety of weekly steroid dosages remains to be shown. I will occasionally give a second course if the first dose was given very early--- before the period of maximal effectiveness (28-32 weeks). Gary Gary E. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
