When I was a labor nurse in Oklahoma,we had a patient who had a double cervix.Trouble was, no one knew about the *second* one. Her exams in labor caused the residents great consternation, because they went something like this: 2,6,3,8,3 etc. One cervix dilated appropriately and the other just dilated a little. They finally figured it out when they found both cervices simultaneously.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
