In this instance, the father's age is 30 and the mother is 28. Is it just "bad luck" that their baby has Apert's (since I feel their age isn't a factor) or are there other factors contributing to Apert's syndrome? The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
