We have been pilloring lawyers but seem to have forgotten that no medical malpractice case goes forward without a trained "expert" testifying for the plaintiff.

I do not for a moment mean to imply that there should b no plaintiff's experts - everone deserves a fair trial - but for every time that you mean to condemn an attorney for an inappropriate suite remember what Walt kelly's Pogo said "I have seen the enemy and he is us".

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
