Speaking of IUPCs, how do listmembers feel about amnioinfusion for thick meconium, without FHR deceleration? The literature looks equivocal, most where I practice do it only when variables are present unlike my previous practice site. I did it recently and the pediatrician was very appreciative that the meconium was diluted. It seems to me worth doing, as the risks of are minimal and the potential benefit great.
