Look at Peter Callen's 3rd edition, Ultrasonography in Obstetrics & Gynecology, W. B. Saunders, 1994; pp. 70-71, 382-385, 713. It has a very good discussion including topics on amniotic bands and 1st trimester, synonyms, definition, prevalence, associated anomalies, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, recurrence risk, prognosis, and management. Hope this helps.

Hello. I am presenting a short talk about amniotic sheets on US. Could anyone guide me to the literature or tell me the significance with patient care? This is also a very redundant question but how do I get this list back to digest? Thank you. Mary Shuman, PGY1 UMKC, Kansas City, MO

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
