I suspected the liability issues had something to do with it, also, until Walt Larrimore showed us data at a conference that FPs who include Ob care in their practices actually have *fewer* lawsuits (statistically significant) than those who do not. Plus, except in unusual circumstances, I believe the malpractice rates are not outrageous. I would like to hear an insurance agent explain that someday! Thanks,

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
