NEC is a very big Japaneese electronics company. They have recently begun competing with CRAY on the supercomputer market. On the other end of the computer spectrum are PDA's (Personal Digital Assistants).

Almost certainly these acronyms have parallell medical translations also.

The problem with the popular TLA's (Three Letter Acronyms, not to be confused with Three Letter Agencies) is that there are only 26 x 26 x 26 of them. We are running out.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
