Steve,

We just had a conference where Kurt Semm showed the new core endocoagulator (cylindrical) that he uses. He says since he's been using that, he's had no bleeding problems. I take that to mean that before that, he did have some. The group here has very good experience also, re:post-op bleeding but they have had a few. I have not seen any live cases yet, but understand the recovery is unbelievably easy and rapid. Do you have any experience with the sexuality aspect so widely touted? Read an article about 8 mos. ago by one of the early users of CISH stating that he has abandoned the use except in special cases because of subsequent prolapse and dysplasia. Not sure the jury is in yet on this.

What about those that we do abdominally?? Should we be doing those with supracervical technique also, with coring or coagulation of the E/C canal?

Thanks,

Gordon

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
