Read an article about 8 mos. ago by one of the early users of CISH stating that he has abandoned the use except in special cases because of subsequent prolapse and dysplasia. Not sure the jury is in yet on this. What about those that we do abdominally?? Should we be doing those with supracervical technique also, with coring or coagulation of the E/C canal? Thanks, Gordon

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
