Great point!

What is the cervical change we're looking for? All of the studies seem to start at 2 cm to really get a good stringent diagnosis. However, practically speaking, if you let a patient get to 2 cm (say, at 27 weeks), you'll often be playing catch-up. Is there any agreement on HOW MUCH cervical change is enough?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
