Re: e: PE in PregnancyFrom: Arthurfree@aol.comWed Oct 25 13:42:45 1995
Therapeutic anticoagulation for the duration of the pregnancy and for some reasonable duration beyond is certainly the treatment of choice. This appears to be the ideal situation for low molecular weight heparin (subcutaneous dosing, more predictable response, less frequent dosing interval, by most reports safer). Is anyone aware of previous use of LMW Heparin in pregnancy? Arthur Freeland, MD arthurfree@aol.com Centerville, Iowa

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
