Recent (last 6 months or so) article in Lancet on D&C vs expectant management in comparable situation. Results came down on side of expectant management in terms of cost and maybe other factors. There is virtually no data on this in OB literature and only an old article or two in family practice literature until this recent Lancet article. Good luck.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
