Planned Parenthood WebFrom: Chris Dwyer (dwyer@libertynet.org)Sat Oct 21 22:08:43 1995
Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania went online with a homepage <http://www.libertynet.org/~ppsepa>. It's still one of just four affiliates with a Web presence. The site offers information about sexual health education programs, low-cost medical services, PPSP's work in support of legislation and programs that enhance reproductive freedom, and links to other sexual health resources. A special page offers information about the historic _PPSP v. Casey_ Supreme Court decision and the obstacles facing women choosing abortion in Pennsylvania. Users can browse a list of publications, place publications orders online, and view a catalog of audio-visual materials available for rental. The Planned Parenthood Resource Center is also accessible via email at <ppsepa@hslc.org>. Because it offers information beyond just the local affiliate level, our site has been linked to by midwifery, OB/GYN and women's health sites from all over the world. Please visit and explore the site and share this news with your OB-GYN-L colleagues if you feel it is useful and appropriate. Thanks for your time. Chris

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
