Re: Twins with loss of Twin AFrom: David Nagey (dnagey@c3p0.ab.umd.edu)Tue Oct 10 19:24:24 1995
Re Gary Kleinman's patient who delivered A and is now stable 3 days after cerclage- Why did you put in the cerclage? Was B on the way? You may well have been right, but I would have put her on bedrest and antibiotics and tocolytics (prn). I suspect we'll never know - this is not amenable to a clinical trial.... No, I would not let her ride 3 hours in an Olds Calais - or even in an ambulance - I would be so nervous that she would get septic fast that i would want to be bored to death with her before I allowed her out of my direct sight. Good luck - please let us know what happens. David -- David Nagey -University of Maryland School of Medicine -dnagey@c3p0.ab.umd.edu (410) 328-5957, FAX (410) 328-8389, beeper (410) 389-9097

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
