Clinicopathologic ConferenceFrom: Geffrey Klein, MD (gklein@bcm.tmc.edu)Mon Oct 2 21:14:03 1995
Hi all... List membership is increasing, 564 at last count.... I have an idea for adding a little twist to the group. I would like to solicit interesting case presentations with unusual diagnoses or unusual presentations of common diseases. The case could then be presented to the list as an unknown. If there are accompanying photographs, there could be reference to a URL on the Baylor server via http://www to display them. Then, list participants could attempt to offer a diagnosis to the case presenter. The first one to come up with the right diagnosis would be publically recognized on the list... The frequency of these CPC's would depend on the number of submissions.. Give it a thought.. If you would like to present a case, e-mail me privately with the details and send me any accompanying graphics for http://www presentation... The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
