Dear OB/GYN list

My wife and I, both OB/GYN, very overworked and under stress, stumbled upon a "wellness program" that had remarkable results for us personally after 3-4 months. We were so excited about this concept that we've taken the program to our patients. This patient participation has added to their overall health and has become a small profit center for our practice.

We have successfully introduced this concept into other physicians offices, and there is ample documentation of the science behind the program.

As we are all being asked to focus on prevention and shift our thinking from "therapy" to "health promotion", we've found this the perfect way to show our patients that we care about these issues. At the same time, these programs are completely out of the control of managed care, and have given us a small ray of hope in controlling our own destiny in health care.

If this sounds intriguing to you, and you'd be interested in hearing more about the situation, please email me your name, office address and phone number and email address and I can contact you directly. There's no money involved in learning all about this. The ultimate costs are minimal. This is merely a simple, yet powerful way of handling these issues in your practice and experiencing some financial gain as a result.

sincerely, Douglas Krell MD FACOG Maria Rodriguez MD FACOG djkrell@aol.com

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
