They've been trying to do that for 20 years or more with various programs. The only thing left is to make it MANDATORY, which is pretty much what we're talking about here. That's what "the Administration" wants to do with everything.

We've also been trying HARD to get more "minorities" in medical school -- there was a definition of four specific minority groups they were after. How's that working?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
