Your words: "What exactly is it that the one group does differently that produces better results?" It would take a different study to identify the answer to that! And that is the problem - how would you design such a study?

Your words: "Not a blinded study - major confounding factor - different obstetricians. Proves only that one group was better than the other at managing potential preterm labour."

What exactly is it that the one group does differently that produces better results?

What properly blinded RCT data do you have to show that {whatever it is} works better?

How do you (or any of us) know what we are doing is the absolutely right thing??

We cannot prove beyond all doubt the sun will rise tomorrow, but I'll bet it will...

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
