If I have a pattern - I can make up anything reasonably close to the pattern. This has enough parts that are off the main pattern (McCalls 5001 is the basic underdress) http://www.mccallpattern.com/item/M5001.html

The dress she tried on that is the real basis for the final project is the Maggie Sottero Diana:

I am happy to send the longer dress story and pictures to anyone who wants them off list. Or sign up for facebook and friend me - I have put some pictures up there. (other listers on on facebook)

At this point, I am feeling pretty good about how it is going to look and fit her. The fact that she is 3100 miles away is my big anxiety.

But, as I am going out there a week before the wedding date, I am 100% certain that if I run into a major issue before I get there, I can finish it in well less than a week.

They have several sewing machines at her house. (depending on how many tenants they still have come July 2009)

In some ways it is much like gyn surgery - you never know what you will find but there is a really really good concept of the anatomy that ought to be there and you have to put thing back together and make it work right. Unlike primary care there really is nothing you can think on and decide about tomorrow.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
