Exactly.

Stopped closing peritoneum long ago. In any procedure. Am doing the whole adnex-pedicle including the round ligament in one. I only pick up the far corner of the sheath with a clamp because that makes it easier to close especially in obese women. Stopped using Green-Armitage clamps in the uterus unless I need to stop a bleeder. Stopped suturing the subcutaneous fat and using drains, a good presssure bandage (applied by myself) works just as good and gives support when coughing. Etc...

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
