It takes me about 20 minutes to do an LSH with a normal sized uterus...then the patient is home 3 hours after surgery and back to work 4 or 5 days later with a 10 cc blood loss. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
