Re: Gen: Medical RecordsFrom: Henry Gregor (henrygregor@yahoo.com)Wed Jun 25 15:00:40 2008
Those folks enjoying this thread would probably all enjoy a book published 11/07, Melville House Publishers, by Elizabeth Little, tited Biting The Wax Tadpole...a fascinating overview of linguistic quirks around the world, and over centuries. BTW, the title comes from an occurence in China, when Coca Cola was firs introduced. Sellers tried to come up with a Chinese name phonetically similar to "Coca Cola"..they did, and it also just happened to mean "Biting the wax tadpole"..I think all of the contributors to this thread would find the book worth reading. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
