We've been using Digichart. Not perfect but works for us.

Kelly

I'm sure you don't remember but we sat down with your EMR a couple of ACOG's ago, 2007 in San Diego. We just implemented the system this year, thanks to your demo. Glad to see that you are back up on your feet.

Agreed, it'll be nice for them to get some auto reminders in the system.

I've been using a web-based EMR for 4 years now, and it has helped increase my revenue by more accurately capturing charges.  It has also helped with quality of care, mainly since I can't read my own handwriting when I see hte pt later! I wish it had automatic reminders, and that is something the company is working on, both for gyn and ob(where it populates the ACOG antepartum record).  One of hte things I really love about the web-based system I use, is that I can access it anywhere in the world -- and have.I've checked on test results and given direction to my PA from Cambodia, Thailand, Peru, Mexico, and others.  It makes me more comfortable with 3+ week vacations and my patients are happy too.

When life gives you lemons, stuff them in your bra. It's cheaper than reconstruction :-)

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
