Hello

I have a 47 year old come to me with a endometrial biopsy report as simple hyperplasia with adenomatous changes. No features of atypia, she was advised hysterectomy by her OBGYN.

Had a single episode of menorrhagia of which she says is relieved after her D&C.

I advised provera for 3 months and an office biopsy after 3 months or can i wait for 6 months.

Thanks Jayacy

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
