Re: Spontaneous rupture of symphysis pubisFrom: Bernard Cristalli (bcrist@club-internet.fr)Sat Apr 26 00:59:24 2008
Not rural myths. This kind of Zarate section gives a pelvic bone instability and is a true nuisance if it is not taken care of from the very first days to allow the healing, just like a fracture (6 weeks immobilization). And in most cases people don't consider it like a fracture, hence the disability. Bernard

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
