I think they weigh the risks to all their children, present and future, including the risks of leaving them motherless.

I guess you probably think caesarean hysterectomy is a good form of birth control.

Your conjectures never cease to amaze me.? It's unfathomable how you can suggest such an evil thought of using c hyst as a form of birth control!? You must have a deep seated paronoia about obstetricians.?

I don't know how you consent your patients.? Do you actually?say to?them that if they have a Cesarean section, their babies may become motherless?? And how do you consent a vaginal breech delivery?? Do you tell them that their babies may suffer from anoxic injury or death from head entrapment, but they can always have?more babies in the future?? Do you tell them that?their babies may be compromised, but?at least they?will be around to take care of the handicapped ones and their siblings?? Do you tell them that mothers never die?from giving birth vaginally??

The irony is that I am all for vaginal breech deliveries.? The fact is most women won't even entertain that thought these days.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
