Re: PPH with inversion of uterus and trapped bowel loop. From: R. Daniel Braun (rd.braun@gmail.com)Sun Feb 3 09:07:14 2008
EL is right. It says on exam the cervix was seen with blood coming through it. If there was a uterine inversion, one shouldn't be able to see the cervix and on manual exam, you would feel the fundus coming through the cervix. So either this was not an inversion or no one who examined her knew what they were seeing or felling. Dan On Feb 3, 2008 10:26 AM, Dr Eberhard W Lisse <el@lisse.na> wrote:

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
