Just warning folks in case you want to delete it!

Sunday (in addition to being the day of the Super Bowl - the day of the most consumption of food etc in the USA - and the football game we do over here) - I will be going in the N Atlantic Ocean (yes in February) to raise funds for the New Hampshire Special Olympics teams. No I am not asking for funds - just this is both a fun and crazy event. We have a team from our hospital that goes yearly (I think it is the team's 6th year and my third).

The Team Leader is our Senior Gastroenterologist. Our Team Name is ... the Frozen Sections. Yes the primary movers of the group are indeed from the OR and Special Procedures area.

Last year it was really frigid outside (like in the teens and it was harder to get out of the water than in. We are supposed to be pretty lucky tomorrow - it might be as high as 40 degrees (F)

If you want to check it out: http://www.sonh.org/penguinplunge/index.asp Some of the team names are a bit more "interesting" than ours ... Chilly Willies & Frozen Seamen - see http://www.sonh.org/penguinplunge/index.asp if you feel like it.

Send warm thoughts this way!

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
