I use these even for the secondary ports that I place under direct visualization. Glen I remember trying something similar called VisiPort a long time ago. I heard that people had saw all layers of the abdomen before they entered into the intestinal lumen. What is my point? No matter what you use, the initial entry is always a dangerous business. Allan

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
