It has come up on the list in the past. First in late 90's - not sure if that's even available in the archives. But more recently in 7/22/2001 - look under "Re: pulmonary endometriosis". Prior to that was 10/26/04: "Re: catamenial hemoptysis". To save the historical evolution process, go directly to Alifano, Amer Jnl Respir Crit Care Med (11/07), 176:1048-53. For presentation of CT changes over time, see Liu, Int Jnl Clin Pract (2/06) 60:232-3. Remember the phrenic nerve, and think diaphragmatic stoma. If TES (Thoracic Endometriosis Syndrome), consider VATS (video assisted thorascopic surgery) and count blessings symptoms are right sided. /tj NOTICE TO RECIPIENT: If you are not the intended recipient of this e-mail, you are prohibited from sharing, copying, or otherwise using or disclosing its contents. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
