Jacob, Welcome to the list. I don't remember seeing you post before. The rep mentioned that if I purchased 16 handpieces they would supply the generator for 'free.' According to them, the handpieces are about $1,000 each. Reimbursement for the office procedure is enough to cover your 16 handpieces in 8 procedures. For those that are doing these in the office, does that sound about like the math you do? Glen
>----- Original Message ---- Hei Glen, My name is Jacob Urbach I am a gynecologist from Israel . When you say that "The deal seems reasonable" How much is it. I wonder what would the price of the Nuvasure be here in Israel ? Jacob From: ob-gyn-l@obgyn.net [mailto: ob-gyn-l@obgyn.net ] On Behalf Of Glen Elrod Sent: Wednesday, January 16, 2008 5:57 AM To: Multiple recipients of list OB-GYN-L Subject: Re: Novasure Larry, I would greatly appreciate a video. I just watched the company video and it looks terribly simple. The 'deal' they make to get the machine in the office seems reasonable as well. I can't imagine why not to do it. Glen
>----- Original Message ---- Glen Ive done over 100 Novasures in my office. It's VERY simple, and quick. Patients do very well. I have a video I did for AAGL last year that I could send you if you'd like. It demonstrates office setup, and patient satisfaction. Larry

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
