Good article in the Dec. issue of OBG Management: All sexually active women younger than 26 years should be screened annually for Chlamydia trachomatis, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). although that recommendation isnât new, it remains a critical component of efforts to reduce the number of new cases, said John M. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
