Garry, There is a medical school in South Dakota, but it is primarily clinician based in the clinics and hospitals in Sioux Falls. If she lives in the Southern half of the state; in the East, she would go to Sioux Falls and the West, Rapid City. If she lives in the Northern part of the state; in the East, she would go to Fargo, ND and in the West, Bismarck, ND.

However, having grown up in North Dakota, we don't actually consider South Dakota a state! Lynn

I know this is off topic, but a patient has a family member just diagnosed with Amotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.

The patient lives in South Dakota, and I would assume that the medical school(s) in that state would be the place to go.

Does anyone have any connections/suggestions that I could pass along?

Thanks,

Garry

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
