Dan sorry to say you can't get methylergonivine any more, well at least in Canada you can't( there are other much more expensive migraine meds the drug companies would prefer us to use, and in all fairness they do work better for migranes, but that has turned methylergonovine into an orphan drug no one wants to adopt) , I seem to be using cytotec instead, I.V. oxytocin works well but its hard to go home on I.V. oxytocin.Hemabate seems to be a little overkill, but in severe subinvolution hemorrhage its worth a shot.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
