.. Ohio Supreme Court: Law Limiting Damages for Pain and Suffering Is Constitutional The Associated Press In a 5-2 ruling, the Ohio Supreme Court upheld a state law Thursday that limits how much a person injured by a defective product can collect in pain-and-suffering damages, reversing its stance on an issue that has drawn national attention from attorneys and business groups. The case involves a lawsuit by a Cincinnati woman who claims that Johnson & Johnson's Ortho Evra Birth Control Patch caused her permanent physical damage and threatened her ability to have children. http://www.law.com/jsp/article.jsp?id=1198749906807

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
