Do you feel putting the quotes around trusted reinforced a positive attribute re the health care provider you implied that she had and rejected? You might have entertained the thought the writer lacked insight, motivation or willingness to expend time and funds obtaining professional help from any number of sources other than a forum from which she is not a welcome member, and for whom numerous online forums exist, should she not wish to spend time or money in direct professional communication. FWIW, I shared your original and current messages with three college English faculty...two female, one male...they all shared the view your wording and use of quotes was more llikely a negative than a positive or neutral usage. No intent to flame, but a response to your responses. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
