I'm looking for a California licensed physician to be the medical director of a prenatal clinic I am opening in central Orange County. While I prefer an OB/GYN, a family doctor with OB/GYN experience would work also. The ideal candidate would have a MediCal provider number as well as a CPSP provider status.

I am down to the wire negotiating a lease for a great office in a high density area that is perfect for getting 30-40 deliveries a month in the first six months. The medical director can choose to be onsite, preferably full or part time, or just be available by phone (nurse practitioners will be seeing the low risk patients) .The OB/GYN I had lined up had to bail out last week due to ongoing MediCal problems he's having, so I need replacement ASAP.

If you or anyone you know is interested, my contact information is below.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
