Re: How to do a hysterectomy

Since you like to call me names, you are a pompous orifice!

My Urologist is the one who's shouting at me if I eff up a kidney. I never said she's better than yours, though from what I read, it's no contest.

Even if some weenie from a school nobody ever heard of outside Texas says so, it would at the most be Eminence Based Medicine.

And, since you seem to be slow on the uptake, a hematoma might develop slowly, and or organize slowly and then compress the ureter. So, as soon as she has symptoms you'll start putting her through whatever machines they have right of the Mississippi anyway.

Why don't you actually ask your malpractice carrier, what they suggest? What I like about the MPS is that they send out a booklet every 3 months with common cases and what they feel could have been done to prevent mishaps. Makes a lot of sense, all the time.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
