Depends on available interventions and expectations.

If you live in a village and deliver in a rice paddy, then every birth is natural and occasionally the gods strike you down. But hey, stuff happens and there's more where that came from.

If you live in the U S of A, every birth is expected to be perfect and any maloccurance is a case of blame looking to be assigned (and it's NOT the poor parents, who are "victims"). Oh, and God is not allowed in the equation - something about the Bill of Rights and all.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
