I am guessing, not much. Unless some medicaly major, life altering consequences followed, it seems to support not doing routine checks after delivery, unless, of course, abnormal bleeding is occurring. I am not denigrating the study having been done, since it seems to demonstrate what many other listers have said. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
