Re: eMedicine Article - Estimation of Fetal WeightFrom: westsidebirthservice@juno.com ("westsidebirthservice@juno.com")Fri Nov 16 08:28:43 2007
Somewhere I read an article about determining the most accurate approach to estimating fetal weight. The three parameters were 1. Ultrasound, 2. Examiner's estimation by Leopold's and 3. Mother's estimation about the weight of the baby she was carrying. Guess which was more accurate? The mother's estimation! This is the type of stuff us midwives love! Louana

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
