I have seen figures of 4-5% for rupture with cytotec at term, even if its only 1-2% would you have expected a rupture in 100 VBACs, there have been a few studies publised snice than also for less than 20 wks with no ruptures so we are probably looking at hundreds of VBAC's with cytotec and no ruptures. I think it points to rupture in the early second trimester as being rare more than anything else. I was surprised they were brave enough to use cytotec in 101 VBACS.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
