Study: Ultrasound more accurate for assessing ovarian tumors -------------------- A Belgian study found that ultrasound imaging using the pattern-recognition method is more accurate in detecting whether ovarian tumors are benign or malignant compared to blood tests that measure levels of CA-125, a tumor marker protein.
